CJ joined Friedman, Dazzio & Zulanas, P.C. as an Associate Attorney in 2025. He will maintain a general litigation practice consisting primarily of insurance defense and environmental litigation. CJ earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame in 2022, and he graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2025.
During law school, CJ served as a Senior Editor for the Journal of the Legal Profession, where he also published his student note on cybersecurity at small- and medium-sized law firms, 49 J. Legal Prof. 45 (2024). CJ also served as Vice President of the St. Thomas More Society and worked as a student attorney in the law school’s Entrepreneurship & Nonprofit Clinic. CJ participated in the Firm’s Summer Law Clerk program during both his first and second-year summers.

CJ is from Huntsville, Alabama. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, cheering for Notre Dame, and playing chess.
