Matthew Slaughter of Friedman, Dazzio, Zulanas & Bowling, P.C.
Profile and Concentration  

Matthew Slaughter is an Associate at the firm and maintains a general civil litigation practice. Matthew is admitted to practice in Alabama and Louisiana. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew served as a law clerk for the Honorable Karen L. Hayes, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and the Honorable Robert G. James, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

In law school, Matthew served as a Managing Board Member, Productions Editor, Acquisitions Committee Member, & Senior Editor for the Alabama Law Review. Matthew also served as a Research Assistant to Professors Heather Elliot & William Andreen concerning Alabama Water Law & Policy. Matthew transferred to the Alabama School of Law from Tulane Law School after his 1L year. At Tulane Law School Matthew was selected for Tulane's Legal Assistance Program and the Civil Law Society's Executive Board.

During law school, Matthew served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Karen Wells Roby, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the Honorable William E. Cassady, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, and the Honorable L. Scott Coogler, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
