Profile and Concentration  

Ashley Crank is an Associate at the firm and maintains a general litigation practice.

While in law school, Ashley served as Editor-in-Chief for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, the nation's oldest law review dedicated exclusively to the art of trial advocacy. Ashley was selected into Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges, was awarded Scholar of Merit in Employment Law and was selected to be a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow. Ashley was also selected as a member of the Cordell Hull Speakers Forum and served as Secretary to Cumberland's Women in Law Society.

Ashley discovered her interest in appellate advocacy in law school and competed in various competitions on the Justice Richard L. Jones National Moot Court Team, served as Associate Justice on the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Executive Board, and was awarded the Hand Arendall Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy.

Ashley is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, and is an active member of the Women's and Young Lawyers' sections of the Birmingham Bar Association. Ashley serves on the Board of Trustees for the Legal Aid Society of Birmingham.
